| I have a harder time grading low and mid-grade books than high grade ones. So for those I usually just go on an overall impression of the looks of the book (but some present much better than others of the same grade, and I always overgrade those). So for what it’s worth, I pretty much agree with @poka. The top book looks to me to be in the 7.0 to 7.5 range, the second in the 6.5 to 7.0 range, and the third is in the 3.0 to 3.5 range. | ||

| Grading is so subjective. It depends on whos sending in the books, How the grader is feeling, what time of day it is what did he have for lunch or was in a fight with his girlfriend... I have sent books in and graded them at 9.4 comes back at 8.0 and have graded books at 7.5 and have come back a 9.4 and it's obvious the problems with the comic but still 9.4??? | ||

| I think the first 2 would both grade the same either at 7.0 or 7.5 I think the wear at the top of the 1st copy equates to the spine wear on the 2nd. IOW, while the spine on copy A looks better than copy B, the top of copy B looks better than copy A. If there is a difference in grade, Copy A probably gets a one grade bump of .5 (but I still think they grade the same). Copy C 2.5 |
