If you don't find one by this evening, I'll look in my box at home. I just bought some long boxes that had some sporadic Metal Men in them but I can't recall what was there. | ||

His web site does not have much of any inventory listed except a few high end keys but he has thousands of higher grade gold thru copper books.Mostly silver age. I know he runs a raw and slabbed sales threads occasionally on the CGC Forum and offers a want list service. Drop him an email thru his site, Facebook page or on the CGCForums.he has ample feedback from CGC board is on there. |

I'm a huge Metal Men fan. Here's a link to one on ComicConnect's site graded as a raw 7.5 for $35. Looks decent. clickable text Here's a graded 8.0 coming up for auction on ComicLink. clickable text |

Didn't check Overstreet but I'd guess that CC'S 7.5 price is likely around Overstreet for VF-. I think the actual value on virtually all non key 2nd tier titles like Metal Men in later numbers like this one, raw 7.0/7.5. ..is ten bucks. Basically, about 25-50% of Ovetstreet is what silver/bronze actually sells at. If you want to sell it. That's how I price point my books at cons. Books like this will sell for say $30 + shipping via an eBay BIN...FC/BC scans supplied and not softly graded. It may take a year or two.It may take a week. If I listed a book like this, I'd put it slightly below Overstreet. But I sell at shoes, so it makes practical sense to blow books put, essentially. I'd rather pop these sorts of books into Mylite2 and Full Backs, filed into my $10 boxes at shows. They sell well at those sorts of discounted figures. The funny thing is, some guys will pull out 3 books like a Metal Men #26 in 7.0-ish.... basically books that would have a cumulative Overstreet value at $50 to $100,for the 3 books, out of my labeled $10.00/EACH boxes at shows and than say: "How about $20 for these?". Sir, those books are $10 each. ![]() "Would you do $25?" No, sir. Thanks, but that doesn't work for me. "Alright, how about we just call it even at 27 bucks. That's only 10% off your stickered price.". Like the kids say nowadays.... The struggle is real. |
