One of my favorite books as a kid. The Great Pretender story. Art by Christian Alamy. He rarely ever does cons, never does sketches but he was at one and after a buddy of mine told him of my love for his work and this book in particular, he managed to convince him to do a Joker sketch for me based on his design for the story as well as a slick remark from the last line of the story.  |

A sketch I did based on the Exorcist movie poster for a special one night showing of the film at a local movie house and the guest of honor was Linda Blair. She signed and remarked it "Sweet Dreams", which was a lot nicer than what I asked her for; "You're all going to die up there".  LOL |
