Get bigger hands. They really come in handy when drinking down at the creek.

here is mine - bought it 2 years ago when I came across it. Was able to see and have Len sign it prior to his passing.

I make purchases like this all the time. I don't have the time to aggressively seek the best possible deals, so if a book is low on my list (as this one is, relatively speaking) and starts getting some heat, and it happens to be the kind of book that has a good chance of maintaining its price, I'll bump it up the list and pay a little more (assuming I catch it early in the rise).

If I don't have this by year's end, I may just concede to a high grade Swamp Thing #1

Got mine already graded for $125 I think. Been awhile though.

Why did it get a 3.5? Looks nicer than mine!

Cover pull in her hair and some tanning on the inside. Other than that - it’s a solid copy.

Harsh. I've seen worse 4.0's and 4.5's from them.

Great deal on the Swamp Thing #1!

I do too. I take all my photos on a blackboard only during the daytime under large windows out in my living area overlooking the mountains. Makes a huge difference

Here is my Swamp Thing - this guy needs some promoting in the DC Universe. Make this guy mainstream people!

I'm trying to track down the tv show. Did you know Wes Craven directed the first movie? It was terrible though. Guy ran around in a rubber suit.

A 9.8 would be sweet but I doubt I'll fork out the bucks for one.

Glorious. These are the best pick ups, finding little gold nuggets in a sea of drek.

@kaptainmyke Congrats on the score man! Swamp Thing is one of, if not my favorite so I am a little biased but it really doesn't get much cooler than this book. One thing about it though is that its ridiculously hard to find in higher grades. There are only 2 9.8's for Pete's sake!

This is the second copy I ever bought. I paid somewhere around 400 for it in '12 or '13. Came back a 7.5 twice. First to get Len and Bernie and then Weezy. It's not my only or nicest copy but I think it's probably my favorite.

Nice copy! A little TLC press might do it some good, but definitely up to you if you're deciding to get it slabbed or not. I'd love to get one of these, but it's not in my top ten yet!
