Ebay announced they where going to part ways with PayPal in 2020.

So with that said, what do you the customers think about this payment system, to me it sound really smart if you are a brick. Not sure what they plan to doing, but they sound like they are not planning help there stock members. But for those like me do they think that people will feel safe leaving the credit card information on their site know that they can't keep a money making company like paypal on good terms? Most companies would have not taken a chance in losing customers do to no form of payment or not security in payment, or are they chopping up the company getting ready to sale it off?

Give me some understanding guys, what are plan or did they do a government desk move?

Paypal is still going to be a payment option, according to feeBay. It won't be up your face like it is now anymore.

eBay is a failing company IMHO. PayPal is a growing company and they want to be sold by Ebay as quickly as possible.

Yep! Crazy. Ebay was founded in 1995. Paypal was created in 1998 just 3 yrs later. They went public in 2002 and ebay swallowed them up shortly after for almost 2 billion dollars

I think what he means is that PayPal, after being purchased by ebay, was subsequently spun off as an independent company with their own stock, trading separately from ebay(back in 2015).

Forcing people onto paypal was always a bad idea, makes it harder to drum up new customers.

Ebay will do well with this model

Another good thing about PayPal - it's not a joint account, so my wife doesn't know how much I spend on comics.

PayPal is good but replaceable. It's way better than BidPay though. Remember that travesty?

Cryptocurrencies will reduce Paypal fees and be the clear choice to use as a payment system.
