These are my two earliest graded copies. I looked high and low to acquire these in high grade. Love the black covers; really sets off the art and colors.

@Foghorn_Sam - Man, those are smoking! If you added the grades for my raw copies together, they wouldn’t make a 9.2! I do have a nice copy of the Arabic version of the Superman. How many differences can you find?

Did you notice the remainder of the removed word ballon on Superman’s thigh?

I got this beauty last year, but owning something this old makes me nervous. Still, love those crisp colors and strong, simple lines.

My oldest Batman isn't nearly so impressive, but I will look to see what I have. Maybe a beat up copy of Batman 191 I've had since I was a kid. ( "Bat-auction: Everything Must Go!" )

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
I sold this one

This one is still up in my eBay store after a potential buyer reneged on the sale:

I still have this early Lois Lane book:

I don't have a great deal of interest in the older Bats and Supes, but I'm thinking of getting a repro cover for this someday.
This still has a VERY small piece of the original cover stuck it the bottom staple- Maybe I should PGX it and hope for "Missing Part Of Cover" LOL

Nope, Batman #139 was the Intro 1st original Bat-Girl. #141 was the 2nd appearance.

Hawkman's word balloon is removed along with the top part of the stadium, but supports for the light are added in. The wording on the starting block the Atom is sitting on is removed too. All the colors are the same. Pretty nice book you got there. I image Arabic language books are pretty rare. I've always wondered how many different languages these books were printed in back in those days.

@Foghorn_Sam - I picked up 20 Arabic versions of various DC’s at a comic show 35 or 40 years ago. I thought they were something different and I had the US versions of most of them. Last year I saw some on ebay and picked up 5 more. I seem to have picked up a bunch of foreigns and odd-ball items over the years. It’s pretty cool seeing Batman and Superman speaking foreign languages.

Here’s one of the Arabic copies I picked up last year.
