Smallville Lex - can't remember his name, but for a young TV version of LL....I kinda liked him. Sooooo....Hackman for the movies....by far the best.....and.....Whatever the guy's name was for Smallville Lex....he gets a nice 2nd place. IMO....*smiles*..... |

@wraith - one could also slide in the "Blacksuited Superman" of the 90s, in addition to "Steel", "Cyborg Supes" and the "Kid Supes" too - right next to "curly haired surfer dude clone Supes"! :o) |

Graham Crackers Comic Books is offering Jim Lee covers for both Action 1000 and Immortal Men to be signed by Jim Lee for cover price plus shipping. Even with a "free" Jim Lee signature and another comic thrown in I cannot be coaxed into buying this horrible cover...

Love how the cover can still be purchased for less than $20 at unknown comics and some jackass has stupid high prices on eBay. ![]() |

Here's the Mattina cover someone else mentioned was coming. It's at 7ate9 comics. (Well, on their facebook page.) Is that Brainiac, do you think? ![]() |

When I think Action 1000, I don't think of of a cover with superman with red devil/demon eyes. As much as I love Mattinas work, I'm passing on this one. |

Maybe we could have a Bizzaro cover..that way when they mess it up they just be like "hey!, it's all wonky cause it's Bizzaro!"

Such a wasted opportunity by dc.. How many of us would have not being able to resist getting multiples but can now easily just settle with 1 copy due to absolutely terrible selection of covers. All quantity, no real quality. As long as they don't blame lower than anticipated sales on a dying market.. This is all on the incredibly wasted opportunity to really do something cool. |

Do we really need to see "another" origin story? Why can't Doomsday kill him first, when he arrives and leaves his transport ship???....yeah.... that's the trick....spice it up a bit!!! |

dave dorman did most of dark horses cover work for their star wars books. the painted covers that is. and heavy metal covers and some interior work also. check out the covers for dark empire and dark empire 2 for reference. and met him at planet comiccon in February and heck of a guy. he is a fantastic artist.
