| Bar code as well. The strike through came at a period where it indicated a direct supplier. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but the strike through prevented returns. Newsstands etc allowed for returns. |

| @DJC_II you are correct. We saw the strikethrough first, before the “spideyhead” came along. Print runs on newsstand books were much higher than the direct editions (strikethrough). The data that we can gather shows the era of comic hoarding, where all direct editions regardless of print run ratio are now readily available in very high grade; versus the newsstand books which are much tougher to find. |

X-Men# 129 is a book i've personally hoarded for years. I currently have roughly 14 issues  most around the VF/NM 9.0 range, with 3 graded 9.6, 9.8 & 9.8 |
