Nice one! Going to see JRAD in Philly next week! Just saw them in Dallas last week and they rocked it. Opened with Might As Well!

I still have yet to see JRAD live. Definitely on my list. I streamed their set from The Peach Festival this year. It was killer. They have way more energy than Dead & Co. I may have to find a ticket as I am 45 mins from Philly.

PM me and I will give you my cell #, so if ya go to the show, we can meet up......

Dooh! Totally missed this post. Ah well I was sick all that weekend. I hope JRAD tore it up.

In other news RIP Robert Hunter.

JRAD rocked it! Sorry you could not go, I had an extra for the 2nd night. RIP dear Robert. Fare thee well, we loved you more than words can tell......

@OGJackster You're using your ears, correct??? I'd say you are listening to something. LOL!!!

And now, whenever I hear this song, I picture Michael Madsen dancing with a straight razor. If you like the movie I am referencing, you have good taste in flicks!!!

This B&W live performance goes way back (30 min., but worth the time)...

Very early prog. (Gary Brooker, BJ Wilson, Mathew Fisher & Robin Trower) includes the rarely performed three verse version of Whiter Shade of Pale.

Eric Carr's drums sound ridiculously heavy throughout the entirety of Creatures of the Night.

You said hip, lol. I’m going to throw myself to the wolves and post the best album of all time.
judging by all the opinions featured and the fact this is a disc and not vinyl I’m going to take the somewhat educated guess I’m 10 years behind you fellas.

@HeinzDad While I can appreciate your choice in music, I definitely think that Cowboys From Hell is Panteras best album. As for the best album ever made?? That is tough one. But if I could only listen to one album for the rest of my life, I'd have to go with Pink Floyds "The Wall" simply due to the variety of music. You can find a song on that album to fit any mood you might be in. I don't know of any other album that I can say that about. And if we're going hard rock, I gotta pull out some "fossil rock" music from WASP.

I’ll give you best album ever is a stretch.... for me it is though. In my opinion Animals is better than The Wall

The acid days were my favorite, Several small species of furry animals gathered together in a cave with a pict was crazy when I first heard it, btw, if i murdered the exact title please excuse me. I didn’t google it and it’s been a while since I read it out loud. Which said I think I have that track on “the works” maybe, not “umma gummy”? Again, not a die hard so I could be a bit off...
