That guy has been trying to hawk that book for crazy money for years now on eBay. I don’t think he actually wants to sell it. I was looking for an unmarked copy though anyways. It’s a $400 book maybe five.

Anyway, thanks for the thought!

I was mostly joking, and yeah; it's overpriced.

Saw that listing and thought I'd post it for shitz and gigs; figured you would have already have seen it.

FWIW, there are 2 other CGC SS 9.8's in PGA , both with 3-4 sigs.No sketches.

Both were newsstands as well.

GPA has both recorded at $1000 a pop.

I'd value this one with a sketch St about at roughly comparable to the 2 other $1000 slabs.

$750 would be a pretty good price IMO...If you were into SS and remarked books.

That book was graded in 2/2016...I think it'll probably sell at a $1000 or so, by the end of the year.

Looking to buy Miracleman #4 in 9.8 condition.
Here is a copy I own. It is the 1:100 variant from 2015.

I have located Betty and Veronica 261 and 262.

Also, if anyone else wants a set, this seller is selling both right meow: https://ebay.to/2ISyuTt

I strongly suggest someone takes this set. These books are super rare to find.

Damn, are they that pricy because they’re Newsstand editions? I wouldn’t think the issues themselves were all that rare.

Rarity. They are priced correctly at $200 for 261 and $100 for 262. No one suspected Vampironica would become her own series and the first Archie Horror title. No one thought to collect Betty and Veronica back in 2012 lol

Those are mid to upper mid grade copies, to start.261 looks to be about a 7.0 and 261 around a 6.0, based on the front cover pics.....At best.

Vamperonica may be a popular character now, but those prices are pretty damn high, I'd say.

An Archie from 2011, could not be rare, especially is it's not a spinoff series. This is the main Archie series from 2011, while this book was printed before Riverdale came out, Archie was still not a short printed book.

Also, pretty much all of the Sabrina and Archie books from the past few years had horor covers, if they weren't straight up horror books.

Vamperonica 1 would not be the first Archie horror book.

Not to mention that Chilling Adventures In Sorcery As Told By Sabrina came out in 1972. Then, in 1973, Archie Comics started a horror line printed under the "Red Circle" name.

Refocusing "This Year's List" because I recently picked up both Detective Comics 46 & 50. So this year, my goal is to pickup Detective Comics 47-49 to complete that run.

@shrewbeer I’m at a con., and today is dollar bin dumpster dive day. If I find any rainbow unicorns, I’ll grab them and let you know.

One of the best things I saw as we were leaving the dealer floor last night: two boxes of slabbed comics w/ a dollar bin label. Poor PGX...

What?

Slabbed books for a dollar a piece?

I hope you bought them all, at a dollar a piece.

I was high bidder for awhile, on the pair of Vampironica Betty and Veronica's 261 and 262. But got too high for my interest. Perhaps the same ones KM bought. Don't know.
