Todd Mcfarlane's Spider-man, there is a error during printing where it turned the Lizard Blue. I've been buying a ton but no luck finding it. Also I really want the gold Variant raw. If anyone has one please let me know

I am looking to buy books that are graded.
Stuff graded .1 through high grades that people will let go of at $20 or so. Would prefer to buy books you are disappointed in.

I own a comic shop in London, Kentucky and sell my graded books at $25 to $39 each.
Marvel, DC & Image for modern stuff, anything that is bronze or older, not picky on title, not looking for a key or even semi key at these prices. But, if you sent off a bunch of books to get graded, and you got a few that came back with lower than anticipated grades - THOSE are the ones I am most interested in!!

Hit me up?

The silver version without a cover price is the one that came poly-bagged.

I drive through London on my way from Cincinnati to Charlotte. I'll be going next in June, for HeroesCon. Will plan to stop in, either on the way down or the way back.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

I had a rock solid 9.8 (raw) copy of Dead pool #1 (1993) until I let the seller handle the books after I pulled that one, and a few others.

He was a bit heavy handed, and while he was pawing the stack of less than 10 books, he introduced a color breaking spine tick to the Deadpool 1, which I had carefully laid on top of the stack.

From that point on, I never let physically hand books over to sellers, when I go to pay them.

I will make a self deprecatory joke about being a condition freak (blah blah). I do that mostly to down play the value of the books, to the seller so he doesn't consider charging me more..but Yeah....screw that.

A dead on 9.8 newsstand Deadpool 1 is probably good for $300-500.

A 9.6 would be a $100, if not less.

Damn, I was pissed at myself.

My buddy walked away with a couple slammers, including a higher grade Savage Tales #1 (mag).....I walked away with pretty much a stack of balls.

I actually still have that Deadpool 1 , in one of my "to be slabbed" boxes.

Wait, no newsstand 9.8's at all? Or do you mean, never a 9.8 newsstand for X-Men 266?

Newsstand 9.8's of x men 266 are not that uncommon.

He has to be referring to the DP mini.

It is the card stock covers on the Deadpool mini series that makes landing 9.8's on newsstands, so hard.

At least the #1, which has the card stock cover and a black background.

I did win a Deadpool #1 (1993) newsstand off eBay for about $20 or so shipped, in auction about 2 months back.

It looked like a 9.8 candidate and zip even told the seller I'd pay extra for boxed shipping *....received the book in a fairly dinged up cardboard mailer that was barely any bigger than the bagged/boarded book, itself.

Odds are it won't be a 9.8.

I haven't even opened the box yet, I was do disappointed when I got that mailer out of my mailbox that I just put it with....umm, about 15 other boxes of comics in my basement, that I haven't opened yet....dating back to over a year and change.😩

Ha! I hear ya, man. I've got a couple boxes of books to read that are 2+ months old. I just keep thinking, I gotta catch up on my reading before I open those. Sheesh.

I bought a lot of comics from a dealer a couple of years ago for a very reasonable price. I recorded them and then put in my remote storage.

Just checked - hm 2 copies of black panther #2 👍 eternals 1-10 👍 and a few other ones.

Problem is it will be a pain getting them out of my storage - hmm

I was replying to @BabaLament. Deadpool circle chase 1-4 are unicorns in NS 9.8

UXmen266 is not

Some other unicorns that are around that era, would be Wolverine limited #2-4, xmen 1 covers a-d, Ghost Rider 1. All 4-500$ books Where their direct edition counterparts are worth much less
