| Here's an attempt at the fine print for tonight's flash sale. I think other sellers wanted in on it, so please suggest any adjustments to the rules. This is not a final draft. I'd like to make the rules as universal as possible to cut down on confusion. My first draft: Ok, here's the deal: I will post a book, its condition, & the asking price. First "I'll take it" wins. Please quote the item in your "I'll take it" reply. Sale begins 6 PM PST/ 9 PM EASTERN & runs for 3 hours. I'll probably run out of books well before then, but, if this is the multi-seller sale we expect, fellow board members can keep it going. Once a book is sold, I'll edit the item's initial post to read "SOLD TO _______". Fellow sellers, please do the same. Shipping will be a flat $13, no matter how many books you buy. 1, 2, 10, etc.. Not per book. Total. BUT I will reimburse you the difference of the actual shipping cost. I will not profit on the shipping & you will ultimately only pay the actual cost. I have only one slab for sale, but it may need to ship separately to protect it in transit. As such, it will have a separate shipping cost. I'll do all I can to keep costs down. Again, you'll only pay actual shipping cost. Since other sellers are involved, it is especially important that you read the description and terms of each item carefully. Please claim books you know you want. If, for some reason, you decide you don't want a book, please DM the seller during the sale & they can re-list it & clarify that it is still up for grabs. Ideally, this shouldn't happen, but if it does, this is the procedure I'd suggest. If there are any complications, we will work it out via DM. I don't want anyone unhappy with their purchases. I have (606) 100% positive feedback on e-bay & I have no interest in screwing anyone. Especially on here. I want you to be happy with the deal, and at these prices? I'm sure you will be. |
