My oldest comic. 1924
I have only seen this book in the hard back version. This is the only comic version of this graded or used to be.

@earthshaker01 that book creeps me out every time you post it

its creepier than a precode horror cover.

Too bad that one never made it to publishing. That would be a cool cover to have.

Here are 3 of the earlier variants that were in my pull account when they came out.

I knew I had the first 2 but totally forgot I had this one. LOL

might as well add this one too. They're all cool!

The original art for #8 sold on comic link. Wanted to get it but too expensive for me

Reminds me of the joke, "You can't touch me there, you're not my uncle!" Don't remember where that came from, maybe an SNL skit?

Needed for a real "double-header."

I thought this one was kind of cool, i think it might be a printing error, but the book has double pages. Looks like two of the same halves of the book were stapled together.

Right side is the inside back cover, on the left the same image several pages back.

How did this get a yellow label? The label even says 2 names written on cover, isn't that normally a green label? Is it a verified SS from Stan and Len, and then the other signatures are "names written in marker"?

Either way, it is pretty cool!

@Themaxx35 I had a chance to meet Zeck at Fan Expo Canada this year, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have mine signed. Picked mine up along with those Punishers 15yrs ago in a 0.25$ bin.

If we are talking cool signed items? For me it would have to be my Greek Crow 1 signed by James this year. This is the only copy James O'barr had ever seen personally besides a scan on the internet. When I asked him to sign it in Greek he thought the idea was fascinating. I asked James what was his favorite Crow quote from the series. A greek friend of mine was on hand thru facebook chat to translate the phrase into Greek. James then took my buddies lettering and duplicated it on the cover. Needless to say for me as a foreign edition guy, this is an amazingly killer and one of a kind item. The notes say..... "Witnessed Sig: JAMES O'BARR (& "Fear is for the enemy... fear and bullets." in Greek) on 1/13/2017."
