Here is a hard cover Sad Sack book that I recently bought at an antique store. It is the first collection of Sad Sack material used from the paper called "Yank, the Army weekly". It was first introduced in the paper in 1942. Then collected in the hard cover in 1944. In 1949 Harvey Comics bought the rights to it and modified it for comic book form. Harvey ran in comic book form from 1949 to 1982.I am pretty pleased with this $7. find. Read the interior page qvout paper conservation. I also like it states that it was manufactured in the USA.     |

I'm taking a course in backflow prevention system testing and saw this on display at the water authority office. It's a piece of an old wooden water main that has since been upgraded. I don't this would meet code today.   |

I saw that this model was doing a small show and I drove to see her in person because her photo's had an uncanny resemblance to a girl I used to date. In person, she did not look quite the same as the girl I knew. Meeting her resolved my curiosity that two people might or could look so much alike. I picked up a few other things that day...    I was pleased that I ventured out. |

I met Richard Hatch at Dragon Con one year.  He signed this comic for me also.  I don't really collect autographs. It was just a novelty reminder that I'd met him. |

Dining at Jorg's Cafe Vienna in Plano, TX. This gentleman, whom I assume everyone will recognize, worked with us on the Morganville film project in 2014. About a year and a half ago he came to the Metroplex to visit my wife & I for the weekend while another film project he was working on in Louisiana was on hiatus...  . |

Not mine, but how cool is this lego Wayne Manor/Batman cave??!!! Here's what the owner says about it: "It dissembles in to about 20 large modular chunks that all fit in my Rav 4. Takes about 7 hours to put back together properly though including wiring the lights back up and setting up all the minifigs plus about 100 bats." reddit post |
