Is that Flash Gordon’s, Buck Rodger’s, or Marvin the Martian’s ray gun?

I looked up the item on ebay. My year matches his description.

Commemorating US Bi-Centenary, bearing the picture of Jefferson, year and Trumbull's painting, signing the declaration of Independence, denomination on back.

May I ask what a star note is?

Nevermind. I looked it up. And yes you have a very good eye. They are star notes.

"Star notes are used by the BEP (Bureau of Engraving and Printing) to replace misprinted/damaged currency before it goes into circulation. These replacement notes are printed just like normal notes, except there is a star printed in the serial number. On Federal Reserve Notes, the star is where the block letter normally is (the last letter of the serial number). On Legal Tender notes and Silver Certificates, the star is where the prefix normally is (the first letter of the serial number)."

I need to bring one of these to Las Vegas; put it on the table as my bet, just to see what the dealer and/or pit boss does.

You are correct with the word "Legendary". I love his Star Wars, Predator, and Aliens work. Nice commission there.

Here's something you don't see every day, ...

In the 19th century the word "daisy" was often used to describe a first rate product.

One of my sons is re-doing his bedroom and is going through some of my collection looking for stuff to hang on his walls.
The Golf lithos are hand signed.
A friend got the uncut sheets directly from the factory.

Also got in a Flaming Carrot ashcan edition...now I have 3 others but they were small..this thing is huge at 8.5 x 11 inches!!

by complete surprise it has an original sketch on the back cover!!! Going to keep my eyes open for more of these -I have 2 Carrot sketches already and would love to get more and $20 for the ashcan was wayyyyy less than I paid for the sketches I have!

I'm neither stylish nor mainstream, ...I'm more like a Victorian hippy.
