| Going back today. I ALMOST picked up a 1st appearance of Mr. Freeze. The price was high but reasonable for what it was (maybe a 2.0). When I inspected it, I found four pieces of tape on the inside. I just couldn't pull the trigger at that point. I did upgrade my X-Men 266 from a CGC 9.2, to a CBCS 9.6 with a cash & trade, though.  |

| Today's pick-ups: Tales of Suspense #57, solid 4.0, maybe 4.5. My only bigger purchase. Swamp Thing #8, VF-. Saga of the Swamp Thing #20 (signed by Wein & Tom Yates) VF. Chew #1 (4th print  , signed by Layman) NM-/NM.Kitty Pryde & Lockheed NYCC Exclusive POP! figure. I don't really collect these anymore, I just dig this one. Oh, & after the Con yesterday, we stopped in at GameStop. They had a Marvel Gallery Dark Phoenix piece that's a GameStop/SDCC Exclusive limited to 6000. Not a big deal, but for $50, I couldn't pass it up. |
