| I use LignUp Mulit Collector for mac. I like how I can change the database to fit my needs. I can also use this program for my other collections. Before this, I used to use Microsoft’s Excel. So, how do you keep track of your inventory/collection? |

| I've been meaning to create a topic on this but haven't gotten around to it. I used to use ComicCollectorLive ages ago and I still love their marketplace. However, they went from a free product to a $30/year model and and started branching out into trading cards, action figures, and statues. I only stayed about two years after they'd made the switch. A few things I didn't like about CCL were that all the book information had to be pulled from their (admitedly very well organized) library, which was all user-submitted. This caused some issues where you couldn't add books while offline, nor could you add a book that wasn't in their database. The submission and approval process wasn't too bad but I didn't much care for having to pay for the privelege of contributing. I sorta bummed around for a while but never really settled on anything until last year when I downloaded Comic Collector from Collectorz.com I found the program to be highly customizable. Their database is also user-driven but is also optional since you can add and organize books however you like (though I still contribute books just as often). The basic version is a $30 flat fee, which I used for a couple of months but I ended up upgrading because of the added filtering options and such. I also like being able to easily synch to an online collection (which I have set as my homepage on my account) so I can always check what I have. There is a cheaper, cloud-only option which let's you add books online (the desktop program version only lets you add from from the program and synch to the cloud) and there is an iOS app that's free for up to a certain number of books but then you have to pay to increase the capacity it holds. I'm not a fan of that model but I love the fact that you can synch the mobile app and the desktop app together if you feel you need that feature |

| I made a custom database using FileMaker Pro on my Mac. It also has a mobile version for iOS, which is nice, but costs extra of course. I probably spent WAY to many hours making it though, lol. But it's completely custom, and I have different pages and lists for all my different collectibles, comics, watches, books, toys, bottles, original art, etc... | ||

| I currently have a running tally with Excel. I also have a CB Realm account that I like alot for the reports. But having to grade each book as you enter it into their database is a real chore. I still don't have everything entered there. |

| Thought y'all might find this interesting. I'm not computer savvy, so I do it old style geek. I just type it up. Add them as I get them. But I'm behind by a couple right now. Both CBCS graded. There will be more. Here is what I have slabbed. I have many PGX graded books, unfortunately. It was from when PGX first started and I didn't know better. I assigned approximate values based on research on the net. It's funny how some of them I value less than it cost me to have them graded. Oh well, such is the hobby. I've used Stash My Comics for years- It's free, I can note if comics are slabbed, and by who (I own just a few slabs, so this feature matters little to me), and it's easy to use (I think). The values aren't very accurate, but that's not why I use them. The forum section has very little traffic, but again, not important. | ||

| I used to use Comicbase, but switched last year to scanning all comics into high-res scans and labeling them with their condition. I have them on multiple drives, and Photobucket, and I carry a flash drive with the 15 gigs of images in my pocket. I would like a better way to view them on my iphone or ipad though, than using Photobucket as it's so clunky! |
