What is the breakdown on return shipping (ie What # of books to get the best bang for your buck)? Is there an option to use your own shipping account?

What I don't understand is why grading companies don't use USPS Flat Rate Priority. And it's only 2 days shipping.

@Evangelon Because our insurance company has strict rules on how packages are shipped. If you want USPS, it has to be Registered.

Yep registered mail works the closest like how the other 2 shippers operate. But it costs a whole lot for little benefit comparatively.

I always direct people to use the FedEx option. It's cheaper, faster, the receiver can control the package from their phone, and the tracking is light years ahead of everyone else.

i used to be a mailman, the registered mail is handled better than anything else. it is literally locked away inside the post office by the clerks before being delivered

FedEx was $20 for one comic back in August. Now it went to to $23?

Yes, when CBCS came out with new website, they restructured their entire pricing - from membership options and tier pricing to shipping costs. I believe there may have even been an option or two that was price tweaked.

Steve,

Can we still request you ship via FedEx on our own personal account?

You should be able to. They linked my FedEx number to my account. My last two shipments were sent via FedEx without me having to resupply my account number.

Thanks, Doc. Do you still get charged CBCS rates or actual rates that your account would be charged?

I have my FedEx account linked to a credit card. I think the last one was about $24 for around eight books.
