I like Neal Adams, he sang the Bucky O'Hare theme song with me.

Maybe it's the odd looking right hand/ 6 fingers.

Mr. Comics - he's one of the greats and did a solid for the Superman team - Jerry and Joe. Always takes the time to speak with you and offers some good advice - not only in the comic book realm. Down to earth and in touch with the fans - unlike others that have a swollen ego.

If you didn't tell me it was Neal, I wouldn't have guessed it. I agree...

I like Neal. Few times I've met him he's been totally awesome. His work like many other is great when he puts in the effort. I mean even on a bad day he's still one of the greats but that cover kinda looks like he was phoning it in.

It's just weird. The perspective and shadowing look off. At first, I thought he got punched in the mouth and cut the finger tips off of his gloves. But who am I to criticize?

At least it is better than his Batman #1 variant with that janky shadow.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
If Catwoman says "yes" in issue 28 you are going to wish you had picked up Neal's cover.

@OGJackster - Wow, I didn't realize that he has almost as many kids as Batman has fingers on his right hand!

I guess at 76 a Batman with 6 fingers and half a mustache is forgivable.

76 years old and still rocking it. I have also met him at a show on a slow Friday. He did a sketch for me and signed some.prints. He was cool to talk with and down to earth. He even gave me the pencil that he did the sketch with. I need to find a way to secure it to the frame it is in.

If it was the free comic book day issue then sure, but not when I'm paying for it. My Batman has 10 fingers and no mustache. Neal Adams was good at one time, don't get me wrong, but wow has he changed.

Well not sure about this. I will get it since I have all covers on my pull for batman. Unless it has the answer to the marriage question then I'll have four on my pulls as my comic guy hooks me up.

The funny thing is, that it still better than 80% of the crap art that is out there now. I think you guys are being too critical. Just my opinion.

I like Neal, but this one is odd. His right leg is in the foreground, but his left leg looks too big. It's like he's got a huge left leg and a tiny right leg.

It is 99 times better than I could do, but it still stinks.

It's like Ali. Retire when you are on top. Not on the slip down. I'm sure Adams doesn't need the money.

Ok so this is the second cover that's not pictured on the pre-order sites. Yeah I ordered it. From looking at the cover it would be interesting to see the b/w's. I think maybe the colorist may have not done this cover any favors.

Hey I think I just figured out what is going on here. This is not Batman. Rebirth Batman is always depicted with a gold edged bat emblem, no matter who the artist is. This has to be Clayface posing as Batman!
