Nerdy Question for CBCS3608

Have you guys chosen to change the label on Submariners of the 1950s to just "Sub-Mariner" from "Sub-Mariner Comics"?
Just curious.

Here's a pic of a book I recently got back. I'm thrilled with the grade and pleased with the overall quality of the product, as always.

But eventually I noticed the title, which just doesn't seem quite right.

Did you guys mis-label, or was it a conscious decision to drop the "Comics" from Namor books from this era? If so, why?

Again, just curious. Thoughts...?

It does seem inconsistent. My guess is that it's mislabeled, maybe mistakenly using the later Marvel Comics series name.

Yup that's what I'm thinking.

Nice book btw. I considered making an offer for it before deciding to buy a raw one and then submitting it for grading. Got lucky.

The books need to stay in QC's hands longer. LOL!

Hmmm yeah it should be "Sub-Mariner Comics"
Perhaps the confusion is in that 3 stories in the issue are entitled "Sub-Mariner"
