Comic books that are Golden or Silver age that are still attainable and (I think) make no sense how attainable they still are... for me, these are #2 or #3 comics... like Avengers #2, which is 1/10 the price grade for grade than Avengers #1. It's too late to get Batman #2 but I think #2's are where to get a nice collection going on still. |

| They are affordable, but they are also slow to increase. If you can take the same amount of money and invest it in something key, the value of your collection will increase at a faster rate. | ||

| I don't buy to invest and I'm sure nobody else does either, but if they go up while you enjoy them that is great ... if you want to invest in something my friend has Apple stocks on his Ameritrade account... I just want to make sure I get the books I want while I still can.. unfortunately, when I find the books I want it always seems to be about 6 months too late, so YES, I love Deadpool so have to research that before I want it and can't get it anymore. It said online that Iron Man #1 didn't used to be an expensive book or key issue until the movie came out and more people wanted one. | ||

| I have too many #2's to post. So I thought I would post golden age #2's that probably no one else would post. For many years, I thought the second issues were not given the notoriety they deserve. Thus, they were cheap and I scarfed them up when I could. Here are some of my favorites. I can't say that my speculating paid off exceptionally well. But I haven't lost money, I don't think. John Hix Scrap Book. The back cover is exactly the same as the front cover.  |
