I was reading in the new Overstreet Guide the article by Jon Berk about the Lamont Larson Collection... one thing I think he doesn't know is that the Drug Store that used to save the comics for Lamont (and write his name on the covers) is directly across the street from a building with 'Larson' on the building, which I guess his family owned... so the kid used to run across the street to get his comic books back in the 30's..just more sleuthing...http://moocowcomics.blogspot.com/2005/03/lamont-larson.html |
