OK I'm on vacation this week, messing around in the man cave. Thought I would try something different posting some books.

After a stellar first six issues helmed by Friedrich and Ploog, the Frankenstein series by this point had really lost its way and had turned pretty much into a superhero book. However, the art by Val Mayerik was quite good, with a combo Mayerik/Wrightson cover.

Despite the snicker-inducing title, this is a great book. Excellent Ploog cover and art, crazy Gerber story and solid pre-hero reprints as backup stories.

Reminds me of Night Gallery's version of Lovecraft's Pickman's Model, though there was no staircase or woman in a wheelchair.

by the way, I LOVE that Richard Donner, Joel Silver, Walter Hill, and Robert Zemeckis all worked on that tv show

More Werewolves. And cleavage. This is a bit of a rarity, too. Gil Kane didn't draw many covers that didn't feature an upturned nose.

That's awesome stuff, Scott!
I'm particularly drawn to those WMT's.
No1 is on my Kaluta want list, and no4 is on my Wrightson want list.
No4 is a tough one with that black cover.
