We just had this thread not too long ago. I remember The Bronze Age kid was telling us about the 5 pieces of tape he uses on the back.

I use Scotch 3M Double Sided Tape (Removable). I cut it in one inch strips, one on each side of the flap. It's easy to use and if I have to remove or relocate it comes right off.

Solid idea!

I prefer to put the glue on the back of the book before I put it in a board and then seal it Mylar and dip it in acrylic! Perfect seal and they last forever!

That said, this is what I use on Mylite2's.

https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Gift-Wrap-Count-311/dp/B01C5IFG94/ref=sr_1_1_a_it/145-9345268-3213960?ie=UTF8&qid=1498707112&sr=8-1&keywords=scotch+gift+tape

And yeah, I use 4-5 pieces of tape but I only use like 2/16th or 3/16th's of an inch per piece.

I also apply each piece to my thumb so it loses a lot of it's adhesive quality...that way, it plucks off easily when unbagging a book.

Painter's tape is too thick, it'd make for uneven pressure on the book behind it.No spine ticks for this guy

And don't forget to place 5 full backs in the bag before you seal it...and the comic, if it still fits.

Sorry, I can't get over how many boards you recommended loading With each comic. And I thought I over engineered things! 😛

I have not had good luck with painters tape. I have to use it horizontally, and even then it usually tears and can be very difficult to remove from mylites.

I like that sound but I cannot stand the sound of styrofoam rubbing against things. It gives me the chills. It amazes me how much more affordable E Gerber Myler is compared to BCW.
