It's limited to 3000, so they're creating scarcity. eBay is profiting from the initial sale of the book through mcs, who are also probably making a little bit. eBay also profits when resellers sell the book using eBay as the platform. You're paying eBay twice if you resell their book using eBay. And the more people pay to resellers, the more eBay profits. long run I bet they make more off resellers than the initial sale. | ||
