You're working a computer and didn't think to Google to see
if each city has one? very surprising.

Dude, give a fish vs teach to fish. He'll be able to think wider range in the future.

@Ginosdad I guess there are not too many comic book collectors out there.

There is one in Juneau for sure. It's a small shop in what would be considered downtown, but for the life of me I can't recall the name. I tried google but I don't think google even knows.

You obviously don't have a mother-in-law whom lives with you and your wife.

There must be like, what, 3 people in the entire state who collect comics in Alaska? It's summertime. Aren't most people at the bar when not mining at the Big Nugget Mine with Parker?

I'm in VERY remote Akutan, AK, and I'm a collector. No shops, though. Only one store, one post office, and one bar here....I buy everything on the internet

Wow. You are on an Island in the Bering Sea right near Russia. Man that looks real remote. I bet it is peaceful?

Yes, it is. Eagles, foxes, whales, sea lions, and otters. I work at the largest seafood plant in the Americas. It's pretty ok, except that I work 12 hrs a day, 7 days a week. I get around 2.5 months of vacation a year, and spend most of that time in Washington state...Seattle and Bellingham

The most wildlife that I have been exposed to was in Nova Scotia. I was there for 2 weeks. We say whales, Eagles, otters, foxes and got real close to a huge moose. Luckily it did not attack us. I bet you hunt down the comic book stores when you are in Washington?

Yeah, I try to hit the shops. Wish there was a shop in seattle that had more back issues, though. The older expensive stuff. Silver or golden age

Heck, I am in the Metro Detroit area and most of the shops have very limited older good stuff and some have none at all.

I was on an Alaska land and sea cruise a few summers ago that made all the big stops. I walked all the streets around the towns and never saw a comic shop. Alaska is beautiful. I got to raft through an eagle preserve, see glaciers (before they are all gone), kayak, etc. Great time. But very limited internet, poor phone connections, and a gallon of milk was like $10 or $12. And although I didn't eat there, there was a Subway offering $5 foot longs for $15. I would highly recommend an Alaskan trip to anyone.
