Heads up on Supergirl #123197

COLLECTOR DarthLego private msg quote post Address this user
With Supergirl #12 coming on August 9, DC will be changing up the art team. Robson Rocha will be the new cover and interior artist.

AND, the big news...

They have added Stanley "Artgerm" Lau as the cover artist for the regular variant covers!

Really starting to like Artgerm's work. First Rebirth variant I picked up was his Harley Quinn #1, it was just too good.

I'm telling you, the best cover he EVER did was Batgirl 12. I'm getting him to sign this here newsstand edition and yellow label it at SDCC brah

This is great news, thanks for sharing! One of the reasons I stopped buying Supergirl was the art. It's been HORRIBLE.

Artgerm is amazing! I try to buy all his work. He has a very sleek digital manga style. If you guys like him also check out Warren Louw

@DarthLego with your predictions on Batman 24 playing out exactly, I've added this and the variant to my pull list! Thanks

Wonder Woman #31 is getting the same treatment!

I was reading both titles and dropped them very quickly due to bad stories and bad art. Looks like I'll be picking them up again in the fall for another chance!

Wait what? Please tell me they are still having Jenny Frison do the variant cover, I love her work, I have her covers on my pull list and don't even get the regular covers.

Glad to see DC take notice of when art direction isn't working and making changes.

Uh...WW has been pretty outstanding, I think.

@dpiercy I couldn't figure out which way was up. they were jumping around storylines or something. I think I read 4 of them and abandoned ship

Yes, it was confusing at first. 2 issues a month with alternating timelines. I am a huge WW mark and even I almost lost patience w/this. The book really hit its stride after 8 issues or so and has been really great ever since.
