| The books are so flimsy and the paper is thin, so it's impossible to not have spine stress on these. I noticed after the fact even mine have minor spine stress but no color breaks. I believe out of all variants, all versions, the $3.99 price variant Newsstand Editions will be worth significantly more over time because look at how many are on ebay going for high prices and they are all $2.99 direct editions. I will pass on 2nd and 3rd print. The only time I've ever seen a 5th printing go nuts is 1992 DC Comics SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL #18. I have a high grade one I sent off for signing with Matt. |

| I am not chasing the extra printings, solely because they added the lame word bubble. "Marry me." Come on, at least finish it off with "I'm Batman." to complete the cheese factor. @Grayspeedster I hit up both Ajs and sarges but don't buy moderns very often. colchester is a bit out of my way, but sarges seems to run out of hot issues jbefore I can get there or what's left isn't in the best of shape...I find they don't take the best care of new issues. The Waterford BAM was where I was checking...won't bother now that I know they're spoken for. Was able to get one of each direct edition covers anyway. They just weren't 9.8 candidates...may not even be 9.6. |
