+100

She is a twig. A very attractive twig, but a twig none the less. I'd have to feed her biscuit batter and have her do squats for about 6 months. That would thicken her up.

she's very pretty. but she has no curves. she's fit. she's trim. she's athletic. I get why they cast her. Her ancestry also gives her that mysterious accent and look.

We body shame as a society but come on, all guys actually like curvy thick women, am i rite? In high school we'd never admit it because you were called a "chubby chaser".

Everyone's different, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder, yes I know. But still.

She's also only 32.

Wait until childbirth, marriage, and 10 years of regret. It happens to every woman. LOL

She was pregnant with her second kiddo during the filming of WW reshoots. I dont think Gal Gadot will ever let herself go like that haha

Uh...yeah, she has already had a kid. She is going to be the type of lady who will be astonishing looking well into her 50s. Like Jane Seymour or Michelle Yeoh. Where the weight she gains naturally through age will accentuate her curves.

I love her so much!

Just saw the movie. Why does Wonder Woman need to dodge bullets? She takes direct hits from explosions and Ares' punches. But for some reason a bullet will hurt her? Lol

The physical and mental exercise? The stimulation? Her invulnerability thresh hold rises with the threat level or emotional responses?

I loved it so much!

Wife and I took the four littles to see it last night. The battle scenes were awesome.

The old Carter looks soft. Gal looks like a warrior. ILISM!

My only (complaint?) is they cut it very kid-friendly, but I understand (and agree) why.

ILISM!

Saw it this weekend. Absolutely loved it. DC finally made a great superhero movie.

That said, I hated the fact that they completely removed every ounce of American patriotism from the character and story. That is a big part of who she is. It would have completely blown me away had they added that to the story.

I had the same complaint about Man of Steel. Truth (depending on your perspective), Justice (or just death, eh...), and the, well, we're going to go the non-committal direction.

Wonder Woman was great. It just needed that last piece of the puzzle to make it incredible.

Well stated. Superheros are American inventions. We should be proud of that fact. Not because it may offend other cultures.

Had she even been away from Themyscira long enough to develop American Patriotism at that point? Probably not.

No, but the original story was based on WWII. The movie is based on WWI, which they used as a vessel to remove the American patriotism. Lots of British patriotism, but zero American.

Had they kept the story based in WWII, this movie would have knocked it out of the park.

I think it was smart to go to WWI instead of WWII otherwise the parallels to CA: The First Avenger would have been too great. A pre-Nazi war in which both sides were committing horrible acts was a perfect setting for this movie to ask the questions it did.
The movie did really help break a variety of molds and ceilings however it did fall back on the comfort and safety of it's DCEU formula for that third act.

She's still learning about the world, she hasn't seen enough yet to pick the USA as her "side". For a large part of the movie she was of the mindset that everyone was influenced by (main villain) and therefore not good.

Regarding her costume it was appropriate for her Greek Hellenic roots and the tactical nature of those garments so I'm ok with it not being the "red white and blue" that people like Cavuto were trying to spout it should've been.

They have too. Movies make as much or more around the world now. Neutral is the best avenue to capture the largest return on your investment dollars.

I'll write it again just for s@#$s and giggles. This movie did not even top DC's BVS, MOS, nor SS (that should put much into perspective) in its first weekend

This will tank next week. I guarantee it! Its made $223 Million thus far. It cost $200 million to make, including marketing. LONG way for this film to go to be profitable.

Now if only the repetition of you writing that led to $$$ alas, I have a feeling the results will agree with my impression of it in the end. We will see as early as this week.

If a movie breaks a profit first weekend the studio considers it a success no matter what, add on top good reviews and no one at Warner Brothers is unhappy today. Stop being such a pessimist.
