| I just wanted to take a moment to wish everyone here a happy Memorial Day. I hope you all have some fun plans with friends and family and some good ol' BBQ. Be safe out there too, lots of people make bad choices on the roads during this holiday. Lastly, do not forget the intention and the true meaning for this holiday. Please take a moment to remember and honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice for this great country, the USA. For folks around the world, not just America, honor those who have served. And to those on this forum in the military I salute you and I thank you.  |

| Just got back from My annual trek to the VFW in Randolph NJ. First time in 12 years that they had to move it Indoors due to rain. But they sent the squad outside at the end to do the traditional 3 Gun Salute as always. Then went to a couple of Bars to celebrate and reminisce with two old friends who also both served back in the late sixties. Had someone at the second Bar buy us a round as We obviously looked the part of three old vets. We do the same thing every Veterans day as well. And I absolutely always loved that Sgt Fury Captain America cover...  |
