Depressing news this morning, more losers attacking innocent people. Our world leaders can't seem to solve the problem, and there is really no end in sight. Got me thinking, could a superhero (or villan) even solve this complex problem?

Who would you put to task?

The only one I could see having a chance is Charles Xavier with a modified version of cerebro to gather intel. However, that machine doesn't exist even in books and I can't really think of any other hero that could effectively take on this problem 😬

No, it's just too complex with too many divergent interests at play.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
Most Superheroes could solve the problem but would not go to the extremes necessary. There is only one man capable and willing to do the job.

Sure, Mecca would become a sea of glass but it would be a long time before ISIS dared to pull this crap again.

Ironically, this is the exact debate that pits Superman and Batman against each other in Injustice and Injustice 2. Superman wants to just kill all the criminals and killers for good and rule Earth with an iron hand to ensure justice.

I’m not wanting to be an auld stick in the mud but having just watch this horrific bombing unfold live last night I’m not sure if this thread is appropriate......with all due respect

22 killed, 50 with life threatening injuries at an Ariana Grande concert in England last night. clickable text

"Losers" isn't even the word I'd describe as quoted from our surpreme overlord, Donald Trump.

What's really foreshadowing the irony is it's Ariana Grande's "Dangerous Woman" Tour.

The world is becoming an even more dangerous place. North Korea's missles appear to actually might eventually reach the US at some point in the near future. China, Russia, Iran, ISIS are all becoming a global threat to us all, any time, any place.

Just try to remember that your loved ones and family are way too far important than a bunch of 5" or 7" screens to stare at.

I honestly don't know why we just don't have a Seal team, with the assistance of whatever the Japanese equivalent of the Seals are, visit little Kimmy while he is sleeping in his palace?

No offense meant, none taken. Just sick of the ongoing threats and this is probably not the place to discuss politics, so I figured I'd throw in some superhero dialogue; it sure seems like that's the only thing that could stop this.

Insensitive? Maybe, but I slept on the concrete sidewalk of Manhattan for days helping clean up what was left of people well over a decade ago now, and the problem continues with no end in sight.

Ironman could step in - I've seen him in action against missles and stuff....he's pretty good

If you add in the Avengers.....and defeat one camp at a time......we'll be looking at Utopia in no time at all!

Shoot...Sabertooth and Wolverine use to do it all the time during WW2.

:o)

Superman is the obvious choice. Or Supergirl.

If you went with others that could get the job done (like Thanos_, we would all eventually become enslaven. Superman seems to be the Truth, Justice and the American Way guy of choice.

But in all seriousness. I think we have the ability to do this ourselves. Except it would involve violating our laws and moral codes against assassinations and the like.

For instance. Drop MOAB's everyday, on certain select areas of the world. Innocents will die for sure. But innocents are dying everyday at the hands of evil doers the world over.

Things sure changed in Libya when we put a missile in the living room of Moammar Khadaffi.

I was on the USS Coral Sea - in the Mediterranean - when we bombed Libya and had three US carriers "crossing the Line of Death".....

Yeah....his living room got shelled....and he lost family.

He doesn't eff with the US anymore, huh?

I'll have to see if I can find a patch from the excursion, we sailors were allowed to buy and put up a picture.

We (The USA) don't fight anymore, not really. Since Vietnam and the U.S. Government becoming insecure and scared of "bad press" we engage like pussies, and our enemies know it.

You cannot win wars like this, politics and public opinion should not even enter into consideration when fighting a WAR!

You destroy your enemy, their ability to wage war against you, and leave them and their land barren of all. This is the path to victory...but alas, we cave to "politically correct" rules of engagement.

This "fight" with Islam would have been over 12 years ago. Oh, yes, they may come back to fight again. However, I guarantee that will take a few decades, and then we just leave them to dust again! Wash, rinse, repeat! Harsh? IDGAF!!!!!

Here is the ORIGINAL "Line of Death" 1985-86 operational patch. Top right corner.

But if you want to, you can see some of the places I had went and the other patches I had acquired from different sources.
