I preside over a bunch of dead warrior spirits in Valhalla, which is located in Asgard. I'm the ruler of a powerful race of humanoid beings. I used to be worshiped as a god a LONG time ago. While I do have some who still call on me, my existence is kept alive in folklore and modern entertainment. I am a shaman and I can change my appearance as I walk among you on Midgard. I'm known mostly for my wisdom and for creating the runes that I passed on to my worshipers many years ago. I've lived among you quietly for many years over the eons. After all, my brothers and I killed a giant to create Midgard, so I'm quite fond of it. I find myself studying what you call the arcane arts more and more. I'm hoping that I can do something to stop my own predicted death. The only good thing in that prediction is that I will perish in a glorious battle!! Until then, I will amuse myself by moderating comic book forums.

Skol!!!!!!

Prove you are not Loki in disguise.

That would be near impossible. Being a trickster, Loki could easily fool any mortal into believing he was Odin. It would take another Aesir to find any falsehood in my claim. I suppose the Norns would be aware of it if I died. But if Loki is holding me captive somehow ...?

Excellent question Lord Lego. I've retro fitted some 1960's astronaut gear with today's scuba tech. It's not only comfortable & lightweight, but very stylish as well. I want to make sure those little piggies are safe when we enter the "Aqua-Dome of Doom" (patent pending).

assistant service manager. we repair welding, cutting and automation equipment. first job fresh out college with electronics degree. first one in the family to get a degree! I never really was able to collect comics when I was a kid. broke family living out in the country. what comic books I was able to get when we went into town, I read hundreds of times. collecting now is more of a fun project/hobby for my 6 year old daughter and myself. good times!

Real Estate....collected comics obsessively until 6th grade when I brought a centerfold to school (70's) and dad burned about 1000 books in front of me as punishment.

decided I didn't like authority...rebelled...bought every comic I saw until college....found girls, fast cars and alcohol..rebelled some more.

spent the next 6 years gambling at Foxwoods...didnt do well...got a life..got married....collected comics again ..got divorced...went in to law enforcement (I think there's some irony in there after giving it to the man my whole life)...remarried...calmed down...grew up...collected comics more seriously with some proper insight and then stayed home with the kids for 10 years before finishing out the home stretch with a beautiful family and some "re-purchesed" books from my childhood (at 3000x what I paid in the early 70's...... ).

Now I try everything in my power to get my kids to want my comics since they were the one pure continuity in my life...but I fear it's a losing battle...they simply have no meaning to my kids so I'm getting buried with them when this party's over

Production supervisor at a seafood processing plant in Akutan, Alaska. We kill and freeze the crab that you see those guys on 'The Deadliest Catch' fish for. We also run grey and black cod, halibut, pollock, herring, and pretty much anything you can catch out here.
I collected comics in my late teens and early twenties, but stopped buying and sold my collection. I started collecting again about five years ago. It's better because now I can afford to buy the old books that I couldn't afford when I was a kid. The bad thing is that eventually I will have to ship my books to the lower 48 when I no longer work here...and I bought a LOT of books in the past five years...I got hooked again...
