I'm a Field Service Technician on copier/printers. I'm full line Canon trained to include the Oce and Imagepress series. Fancy way of saying I'm the guy that comes out to fix the copier when you hit the button and it doesn't work. Although I also do that for production companies where printing is their business. Been in the business almost twenty years started right after I got out of the Marine Corp and got married.

I've been collecting comics for most of my life. I would say Star Wars 47 was the book that turned me from a accumulator into a collector. Being around 7 years old at the time and explaining to grown ups I wasn't wasting my allowance that these books were priceless as I lugged them around in milk crates.

I work in Retail... in Colorado... I'll let you put those two together..

I wish I still had HALF of the collection I did when I was a kid, but my parents 'lost' it at some point during my teens/early 20s. Spent the last 10 or so years rebuilding and expanding!

Grew up in Cincinnati. On an alley near downtown. Peete street. I think they call that area "Over the Rhine" now. Not sure why. Left High School in the eleventh grade and joined the Marines. Did seven years and 9 months with them, always in an infantry unit, and switched over to the Navy (at their request. Nothing exotic) for my last three months of eight years. Got a GED while in the Marines and was told I scored the highest score they ever had on the GED test for an active Marine, without preparatory classes for the test. (I say that because my education came from comic books. School taught me little). Was a Staff Sergeant and a Yeoman 1st Class. Then got discharged and became a Cleveland Police Officer (Cleveland was my last duty station in the military). Went to college at night, when I could, while in the military, and do not have a degree. Just didn't have time as I had military commitments. Online did not exist back then.

With the police I worked uniform for 12 years and undercover for ten years. Mostly Narcotics, but for one of those years I picked up hookers "for a living". Really really cheap ones on the streets. I used to make deals for an eight dollar "service", but they were usually twenty or thirty dollars.

Retired as a Lieutenant in 2003. Since then I play poker professionally. Apparently I am not good at it. At least that is what my wife and my wallet tells me.

Raised three boys to fine men. Been with my first and only sweetheart since I was ten and she was 8. Fifty four years in total.

Collected since about 1963 except for the eight years I was in the military. When I got out, my aunt gave me a box of comic books from my childhood and said "here, I saved these for you". I looked them up in a price guide and I was excited about comic books again. Starting collecting again but not reading them. I have read maybe twenty comics since becoming an adult. But I read everything I can ABOUT comic books. I love collecting Gerber 6's and higher. Can't afford the really rare books, but I have some gems. I also have my original ASM #1 from my childhood.

Oh, two more things. I'm a Taurus and I like walls of text.

I am a journeyman plumber for a commerical plumbing company. I started reading comics when i was around 8. I read anything that had wolverine on the cover. I actually started collecting comics about 2 years ago and bought my first graded slab off ebay and got brave enough to start sending in some of my signed and now unsigned comics.

I preside over a bunch of dead warrior spirits in Valhalla, which is located in Asgard. I'm the ruler of a powerful race of humanoid beings. I used to be worshiped as a god a LONG time ago. While I do have some who still call on me, my existence is kept alive in folklore and modern entertainment. I am a shaman and I can change my appearance as I walk among you on Midgard. I'm known mostly for my wisdom and for creating the runes that I passed on to my worshipers many years ago. I've lived among you quietly for many years over the eons. After all, my brothers and I killed a giant to create Midgard, so I'm quite fond of it. I find myself studying what you call the arcane arts more and more. I'm hoping that I can do something to stop my own predicted death. The only good thing in that prediction is that I will perish in a glorious battle!! Until then, I will amuse myself by moderating comic book forums.

Skol!!!!!!

Prove you are not Loki in disguise.

That would be near impossible. Being a trickster, Loki could easily fool any mortal into believing he was Odin. It would take another Aesir to find any falsehood in my claim. I suppose the Norns would be aware of it if I died. But if Loki is holding me captive somehow ...?
