May the 4th! Post your Star Wars books!2763

While I have many favorite Star Wars comic books, I think the treasure in my collection is Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca) who signed this Action Figure Variant by John Tyler Christopher. I wanted Carrie Fisher to sign the Princess Leia Action Figure Variant in October but someone who shall remain nameless dropped the ball on me. No biggie, that's the way the ball bounces in life sometimes.
This comic will be a gift to my nephew who is a senior in high school and has his room covered in Chewbacca items.

BTW. He can make the Chewbacca Roar perfectly.

Not comic related really, but when I lived in LA we would go to the Rose Parade and football game at the Rose Bowl and one year they had two Star Wars floats and a bunch of other Star Wars performers and what not.

Before the parade started this golf cart surrounded by people started coming down the road, as it got closer all you could see was the beard....

At which point I yelled "George, have my baby!"

Celebration III, I think it was, was pretty packed with guests and I wasn't collecting too many comics at the time. I basically bought many of these because of the signing opportunities they had.

Here's one of my favorite Star Wars covers. I'm thinking of one day giving it a press and getting it inro a red label

I probably only own about a dozen or so Star Wars-related comics, but I remember when the first movie came out (I was in high school) how we all wanted to go see it again and again.

@DarthLego Nice! Where did you get that signed? I know Prowse hasn't been invited to Star Wars conventions recently. Has that changed?

Here is my 1 thru 6. I'm missing around 10 issues or so on the original Marvel run. Just finished up my Star Wars marathon. I take May the 4th off and watch as much as I can get in. This year it was Rogue One, Episodes 4-7. It's always hard for me to get through Episodes 1-3 and this year I skipped them all together.

This cover really stood out to me, so I had it graded as soon as I got it. I have a lot more Star Wars comics, including The Campbell variant of #1. I'm going to get that graded but I want him to sign it first!
