Harley Quinn #1 Adam Hughes Variant HELP!2761

Collector nikki666666 private msg quote post Address this user
I have 'inherited' this copy of Harley #1 and am considering sending it for grading and slabbing...

my question is basically, what do you think this will roughly grade at? if its not going to fetch at least a 9.0 is it worth doing?

any help would be appreciated.

Agree with @DarthLego and @Absolute_Zero

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user

Lots of spine ticks on the back though. I'd say no better than 9.4. 9.0-9.2 most likely.

9.4-9.6.....depends upon the atmospheric conditions of the North Pole as it conjuncts with the South Pole.....AND....if the grader is having a good, great, or excellent day.

:o)

@Revelations I was thinking a 9.2 myself but I'm not sure how much the marking on the back and spine ticks affect the grade. The front and corners are like 100% and the inside hadn't even been read.

Here's a 9.2 for comparison

Adams Hughes is changing his signature, signing policies.

Would expect some terrifying news regarding graded signatures in the next few days.

I would suggest if your worried 1. having it pressed & 2. prescreen.

@dielinfinite looking at that back cover gives me more confidence in at least a 9.0

I am on my cell ATM so I can't offer up a grade estimate.

But in any event, the book os certainly above a 9.0.

I would STRONGLY suggest that the book be pressed, before it is graded.Actually, I'd have it pressed by a reputable presser before it is signed & sketched and then pressed a SECOND time, after it is signed. & sketched.

Having Hughes sign and sketch it woukd also be something I'd strongly suggest.

Do a search on reputable CBCS/CGC signature faciliators before you do anything, there are hacks out there that have a history of dicking books up.

Anastasia's Collectibles (and their CBCS sister company) come to mind as faciliators to avoid.
