| Wondering what the opinions are out there in a Sig situation with just a COA. CBCS honors COA's with a yellow, correct me if I'm wrong - CGC will not and just give you a green label. Considering costs and values, what are your unbiased thoughts. No bashing...don't want this to turn into that thread. Please add any other considerations I missed. |

| CBCS will be a red label. I would rather have a red label CBCS as opposed to the green label of death from the cgc. | ||

| CBCS will honor the yellow label of a CGC slab. COAs are meaningless to CBCS, there's no way to prove that the loose slip of paper really belongs to the book. | ||

| If you want to send in a raw signed book, you can have it verified and get a red label. CBCS actually verifies the signature itself, they disregard any COAs. Much better than CGC because they don't offer any verification. | ||

| Yep...it's gonna be a Red VSP. I like them too. In some ways, I also think that the "reds" should be only one bitch below the "yellows"....because they are verified authentic, and only non-witnessed. CSA is very reliable for accuracy. |

| @DarthLego I didnt realise CBCS would honor CGC's labels. This is very good to know as I picked up a couple of Carrie Fisher signed CGC slabs and one of them was a really poor job with that nasty oiling effect from within the casing. Was contemplating asking for it to be re-slabbed but would rather bring it over this way if this is an option. | ||

| @rtdcomics Yep, they will honor CGC witnessed yellow, no promises on the grade though, because the graders never see the CGC label to keep them unbiased. CGC does not offer CBCS the same courtesy, which is not surprising. |

| yeah i was aware CGC wouldnt honour anyone else so just presumed this went across the board on signatures. The copy itself is strong so should retain its grade but anythings better than how it looks now. | ||
