| You guys have shown some excellent creativity when there is discussion on chosen cover art themes. My favorites have been word balloon covers, shadow covers, and reflection covers. I love polar bears. I have painted 4 oil paintings of polar bears. This was my first oil painting attempt in 15 years in 2010:  Then in 2011 I kicked it up a notch:   This was my most recent one, and it's my favorite. I finished it in 2011.  I have a polar bear tattoo on my entire left forearm (polar bears are left handed). The coat of arms for Denmark royal family is coincidentally the polar bear. So, out of the thousands of comics and toys I own - guess how many polar bear comics I own? Two. These two:   I need more polar bears! Does anyone have any polar bear comics to show? |

Not a comic book cover but I won my office March Madness pool in 2007. I used the money to buy this painting from a store that was moving and having a sale. I remember making an offer and the guy calling the artist to see if they would go for it: I still have the painting hanging over my bed. |

Not comic book related, but have you tried to find the Coca-Cola Polar bear trading cards? They came in a metal tin or a box set. For those too young to remember, Coca-Cola did a lot of commercials with Polar Bears. I just couldn't see this thread continue without at least mentioning them!! LOL  |
