| Towmater I've never seen that book. I've seen the Savage Dragon #30 Spawn crossover with the same cover. What book is that? =========$========================= It is the same comic as Savage Dragon #30, except it was the newsstand version. They tried to increase sales by renaming it Spawn Savage Dragon #1. They also added the "As seen on TV" logo for some strange reason. Image shortly thereafter banished my Dragon buddy from newstand delivery. |

| @shrewbeer - I promised I'd share my latest shipment from CBCS with their new "Newsstand Edition" labels. Of the 15 books, 9 are NE's. I was supposed to get the order yesterday, but since I am on vacation this week, I was running errands. My wife works from home most days, so I didn't worry about it. When I got home and saw the FedEx label stuck to the door without the CBCS box, I was pretty depressed. My wife never heard a doorbell, but remembered seeing the truck drive by. So a day later, here they are. Wolverine #1 first; this is the only one of the 9 that came back with a lower grade than I anticipated.  |

This book also got a 9.0, but I expected an 8.5 or 9.0. It's a true NE because it has a small indent/scar on the bottom from the bailing wire that the distributors used to bail together comics and magazines. I used to go to the same pharmacies and variety stores so often as a kid, that some of them would give me pliers to open the bails if they had not done that yet. |
