| CBR is reporting that they believe a direct-to-video animated Watchmen adaptation is nearing the end of production. Watchmen, of course, was adapted into a live-action movie by Zack Snyder, who is now in charge of DC's Cinematic Universe. Alongside that release, there was also a Watchmen motion comic. At this point, doesn't an animated movie feel a bit redundant? At the same time, Watchmen is coming more and more into the forefront of DC's Rebirth so it makes sense that they'd want a major new Watchmen product to take advantage. |

| I don't think there's been any news on that other than HBO saying that there have been discussions but no deals in place. This would be something else and handled by Warner Brothers. |
