Question about taking pictures2555

Collector JonnyQ private msg quote post Address this user
I am a long time collector that is selling a big collection. My question is how do you take a good picture of a slabbed book? They are so reflective, getting a good picture is hard. But I see really excellent pictures out there, so obviously it can be done. Would much appreciate any tips.

It is hard, but search for the correct lighting in your house. Use an iphone. 😂

You have to master the correct Kung Fu pose to minimize the refections and shadows.

I've found this angle works pretty good with my digital camera with flash.
