Can anyone please help identify the origin and value effect of the text along the very bottom of this page from Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #12? Not the part that says "However I have" (that appears in all USG comics) but the "Instructions for double page spread" part. What is it and what does it all mean?! Thanks! :-) |

First off, Welcome to the boards! Next, I think it's a case of the sheets being trimmed too low, exposing some of the printing elements we aren't meant to see. I have a similar book though in my case, the pages are trimmed too far to the right so you see the printer registration marks and stuff. Value effect is really difficult to say since these kinds of errors tend to be rare, it's difficult to apply a standard value effect. |
