Hi guys, So I just got that Giant X-Men 1 and I'm pretty disappointed. Firstly, I'm not sure wether the pictures are accurate, secondly there appears to be two staples on the last page that go all the way through to the second page. Was this done by the printer? Is this considered restoration? How does it affect the grade? An updated grade with info on the staples would be awesome. I need to know ASAP so I can get my money back! I'm pretty pissed as this was a Holy Grail for me. And news, good or bad would be great. Thanks in advance. |

Pages Are glued, and stapled.thats why It's so Hard to press. All the thick books Are like That from That Timearea. So No worries |

Im on my Phone, so very Hard to tell. But it looks really Nice. I would defently slab it. On the phone, that hides a lot of errors, it looks 8-9 area. But again. Can't grade from pics on my Phone, as I cant see wear, and small creases etc. |

Not very good pics, so it is hard to tell. But I would give it a 9.0 or 9.2. If you had a scanner instead of a phone pic, it would help. Phone pics of comic books generally suck. |

In my opinion, assuming the interior is as nice as the covers. I would give it a grade of 9.2 Possibly a 9.4 and possibly a 9.0 But 9.2 looks spot on. However, I would return it for a refund, regardless of what grade the seller gave it. Why you may ask. Well because that book was obviously made with a glaring defect. It was manufactured upside down. Just look at the photobucket pics. (just kidding) It is a very nice looking book. If the price was right and the seller was in the range of 9.2 with his or her grading. Keep it. Just make sure you go through it, count the pages, and look for any missing pieces (coupons cut out etc.) Keep it. |

@WCollecbales yeah those square bound books have staples. I bought a Marvel Super-Heroes #13 vol. 1 a few years ago and learned about it from the seller. Looks like you scored a nice Giant Size X-Men #1. Congrats! | ||

Defently not a 7. My 8 in my 8-9 guess was conservative. My hero for hire has a few minor tears, and That got an 8. |
