I want to pick up some artwork I like that is on a 11x17 Bristol board that's I'd love to have encapsulated and signature confirmed by cbcs. Are they able to grade it?

Got to ask where you found the Badrock by Liefeld piece?

Yea hopefully they figure a way to do it soon. Sounds like you have some awesome sketches on their way.

It will probably never happen, they have to come up with $75K just to get the injection molding for magazine size going.

Did you get him to do a commission or what? If so, did you work with him at a convention or did you work through Spencer at The Artist Choice? Just curious how you arranged it.

This is what I keep my original art in:

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01FC1W7PW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I went with 14x17 to accommodate some wider work, but they sell them in 11x17 as well. I also like this model because the pages are removable, and I can fit 11x17 pages along with 14x17.

Nah...nothing like that.....back in the 90s I used to live in San Diego and always went to SDCC. Back then - before it sold out every year.....

----speaking of which - new SDCC tickets go on sale April 8th - not sure if they have closed registration or not------

...where was I? Oh yeah....the 90s and SDCC.....since Image Studios was first based out of SD, he'd show up more often than he does now.

I walked up to him and had him sign a couple of books, but asked him if he would draw a quick "Badrock" on the back of a comic board. I handed him a gold pen and he commenced to draw it for me.....maybe 5 minutes top.....

Turned out simply "AWESOME!"....

My wife told me the package arrived this morning, so you will see a video pop up for my unboxing submission.

Of course there are much better vids out there than I could ever put together.....but what the hell....I'm always feeling lucky when it comes to contests!

:o)

IMO - and many things get accomplished using "Kickstarter funding".

I wonder if CBCS thought of this?

....to add.....with all the success gaming companies have had with "Kickstarter".....I do believe that there is enough CBCS fans out here to embark on contributing something.

I would throw something there way to help contribute.

But it will be a CBCS initiative to finalize the goal.

I think it can be done.

I hope they don't get perturbed by the failings....*winks*.....

I would support a kickstarter to get the magazine slabs produced.
