most books I want Don't elude me, but I'm just not willing to pay the going price. However there's been one modern book I can't seem to aquire as its hard to find in 9.8 shape due to its white cover and most have printing defects...plus it's not popular enough to be a book people think to have professionally graded...have only seen one on eBay in the past 6 months and I LOST the auction by a sniper who squeezed a final bid literally as time expired...

Duration of search: since 2016
Year: 2006
Publisher: Marvel
Title:"immortal iron fist"
Issue: #1 (not the directors cut)
Printing: First
Raw or Graded: graded 9.8... I have a raw that could achieve 9.6
Signed: would entertain it...but not preferred
Open to trades: Yes
PM for offers: Yes

I would think that White Whale would be something you absolutely can't find rather than something you just can't afford.

Mine is actually not a book, but rather a bag I have been seeking for conventions.

Did you ask @earthshaker, he seems to have multiple copies of these types of issues.

It can also be something that seems to get slipping through your fingers...just when you think you finally have it.

Not even sure if it exists but ever since I bought
STUNTMAN COMICS #1 & #2 off the newsstand in 1946
I've been looking for issue #3 that was sent only to
subscribers.
So I'm looking for: STUNTMAN #3
Published by: HARVEY in 1946
Open to trade if I have anything of interest.

@Kav There is a green labeled 5.5 copy that will be a part of the 4/12/17 auction at Comic Link. The label states the centerfold is missing. Might be a way for you to get a copy.

I have nothing to do with that book. I might bid on some of the items in the auction, but I am not selling anything in it.

unfortunately incomplete books hold no interest for me-even if I had Action #1 with page missing I'd broom it fast.

Amazing Spider-Man (1963)#40 7.5-9.0 signed by Stan Lee and John Romita. Preferably with white pages and a good wrap. But the kicker is nicely placed signatures I don't want Stan right in the middle. In my opinion he ruins lots of comics with horrible (almost seems intentional) sig placement.

There is a 5.5 blue label in their current auction. I don't have anything to do with that book either.
