This is my only slabbed war comic. I'll try to scan and post some raw books tomorrow.

The jumping off point of what is probably my favorite DC War title.

My favorite cover in this run. I know there was a thread about what you would over pay for at one time. Well in my opinion I over paid for this and happy I did. CGC has only graded 4 copies and this 7.0 is still the second highest graded. Oh and Heath is a war master just under Kubert in my opinion.

I used to have a lot more DC war titles, but I've sold many of them off over the years. Whenever I'm at a show or con, I will sometimes pick up a copy if it can be had for cheap. Got this one last year for a few bucks and it's in very nice shape. I'm pretty sure I never had any Star Spangled War Stories in my original collection and I'm unfamiliar with the Unknown Soldier story line. I was more of a Sgt. Rock and Haunted Tank fan back in the day.

@Foghorn_Sam Yell Yes Rock and haunted Tank are the bomb. I also really like the Enemy Ace stories. They my actually be my favorite, although if you were to count up the books Enemy Ace was in and not a reprint it may only be a couple of dozen issues

Here's one I had and sold a few years ago. Also one of my favorite covers of the run.

That's an awful nice looking 4.5 there. What held it back?
Oh wait, I forgot, I can look up the grader notes myself with CBCS books, except I can't make out the serial number from the image.
