Ah, yeah.

If a 2nd print newsstand version of this book actually existed, that would be pretty sweet. 😉

Sorry, hoss. That is a direct edition, read the bar code closer.

And yeah, I have a couple of those.It's a $5 book raw.Maybe $10 if it is a dead on 9.8 candidate.

I have a complete 9.6/9.8 raw run of Alias #2-28.That book is good as a set filler, without having to give away a first print of Alias #1.

Alias was a direct market title, I am 99.99% sure that newsstand versions were not published.

Bardboard boxes can only be found in the nether realm of The Bard's Tale.

They are infinitely stronger than cardboard boxes and confer a +5 dice roll to the user in all areas.

Highly reccomended.....and free with the purchase of this slab!!!

On the off chance you are being serious, the TV series Alias had no connection to the comic book Alias. Jessica Jones is the series for the comic.

Um, she had the starring role as Jessica Jones.

She also played Jesse's love interest in Breaking Bad.Intil her character OD'd.

She will be reprising her role as Jessica Jones in season 2 of Alias(confirmed).

I think she will play JJ in The Defenders, season 2 of Luke Cage and possibly in Iron Fist.

You mean the TV series from the 1990's, right?

Jessica Jones (Netflix version) is certainly based on this Marvel MAX Imprint series.

Word.

Jennifer Garner is def as cute as eff but Kristin Ritter is the winner winner chicken dinner, hands down.

At least I think so.But I've always been partial to artsy/indie rock looking types.

Meh, I should probably just hold into this slab.😍😍😍

I definitely think Ritter is hotter than Garner. Something about that deathly goth i hate everyone vibe works on her and her porcelain skin. She's kinda too thin and skinny tho

Yep, back in the day that was the case. Then barcodes became so useful and essential to retailers that they became the norm even for direct editions.

Actually, the publishers pushed the use of the barcodes, as a means of better sales reporting. DC made the switch with their Nov 93 cover dates, and Marvel did it in July, company-wide for both.

Image didn't add Direct barcodes until substantially later (late 1996/early 1997.)

Most retailers didn't care. Many don't use them to this day.
