| Before the forum closes sometime tomorrow I just wanted to say, "Thank You" to all the folks that made CBCS possible. The two Steve's and countless members of the staff made this such a refreshing environment after the nonsense and abuse by CGC. I made some good online friends, learned a lot about comics in general, and saw a few cover images that I just had to have. I hope everyone here can find their way over to Collector Syndicate so the fun can continue. And no, this does not mean I will resume using CGC, that bridge has been burnt many times over. So... so long and thanks for all the fish! |

| Yeah, I know it's cold comfort, but CBCS didn't go out of business. It was bought and closed by the competition. I'm sure they thought all the CBCS fan boys will flock to PSA. They thought wrong. I think I'm going to send a bunch of Alex Ross covers to PGX. PGX is now the best slab on the market. |

| I can't access CS from work so I can't interrupt my day with checking the forum now. When the CBCS forum goes away, then what will I do for a break from work? CGC forum? Funk that. I'm with the good Dr on this modern thing. I have some modern Transformers variants that might look ok in a PGX slab. |

| When the CGC overlords decided that the focus "should be on collecting" and not extraneous conversation and poofed all those forums and subforums away, I will admit I was shocked. I guess if I had a hope, it would get rolled into a PSA forum if they even have one. Lots of good posts and threads here over the years. I do think it is a shame. Hopefully PSA doesn't suck ass and uses the CBCS slabs and makes a better label. I have friends who love PSA for their sports cards so I guess it isn't all bad. | ||
