Many (Most?) of us have already joined up. Come on over! It's got a different "feel" to it but everyone has been really welcoming.

There will never be a sandbox like this one has been.
We all played here for many years and now we have to take our toys to another sandbox to play.
We will take our memories with us.
Fare thee well...

PGX is still privately owned. That's why it's still around. If, by chance, it is a corporation, then one person owns all or the majority of the stock.

Have they improve their grading or are they still suspect

Good question. I've heard PGX has tried to be better, but the reputational damage is still there. I don't know if I would use them for anything other than some moderns, but I haven't been able to pull the trigger on them in 10 years.

PGX does have a better slab than PSA or the cgc.

A modern submission to them doesn't sound all that bad.

The biggest drawback to PGX is that MCS does not take PGX books in on consignment.

The CGC Resistance has taken a heavy hit. But we’ve found a new home and new allies at Collectors Syndicate.
I’m a little surprised that PSA hasn’t done some significant outreach to try to pull in forum members. I would think that CBCS submitters (or any CGC Resistance groups) would be a natural market for them.

I feel like a friggin' Aldi commercial when complimenting CS, but the ad's true: "It's different, but you'll love it!"
