Hello all. I bought my first pedigree comic today. It came with a certificate that said that CGC would recognize it's provenance, but I have 2 questions. I would prefer to submit it in my final submission to CBCS, but does CBCS recognize this provenance? Also I looked at the list of provenances accepted on the CGC website and did not find Dragon Lady on it, so is it even accepted there if not at CBCS?

Thank you in advance for your help.

A Personal Collection designation is not the same as a Pedigree. Pedigrees are almost always large original owner collections that include several major keys. CGC would probably note “From the Personal Collection of …” on the label, but it would not qualify for the Gold Pedigree label. You could contact CBCS if they would note the collection provenance on their label, but time is running out for that.

I used to frequent the Dragon Lady comic shop in Toronto in the early 80s.....I loved that place!!

Thank you very much for the info Esaravo. I didn't know the difference between the 2 different types of collections.
