What will your last submission be?22267

Collector Rafel private msg quote post Address this user
My last submission was sent in yesterday. (172) comic books for pressing and grading. I'm hoping they honor my points of (155,960.00) or $1,559.60 in credit. That will put a nice dent in my bill.

I'd like to say I still turned out alright, but that would be a lie. flanders private msg quote post Address this user
@Rafel it's been mentioned several times on this forum that Cbcs pressing has been shutdown. I hope those books are worth grading without it. Also, I'd take a screenshot of your rewards and make sure they redeem them.

On past orders, my rewards were listed on the invoice and deducted from the total payment.

I know but Cody gave me a thumbs up for pressing.

I'll have to check my emails again.

I loved Sears photography studios back in the day, but I didn't rush to schedule my last selfie with my dog there when they closed just because he was more glamorous in their photos. Imagine if Ralphy was less important to new, big business Sears ownership than to me as the doors closed. They might not capture his chiseled cheek bones and taunt buttocks because they had a deadline to leave the mall and make room for a Radio Shack expansion.

Coffee Talk... discuss.

Dang, Rafel... 172 books to press? That's a tall order! I hope they do it for you, especially with $1.5k in credit to your name. You ought to be able to do with it what you want. Having said all that, I'm glad my measly 10 book order will probably get there just before yours! =P

They're all pre-1982 with about (40) from Alan the "GRUMPY OLD MAN".

@Rafel wow. Yeah, I wouldn't let that go to waste. I received payment confirmation for my order yesterday, and they did honor my credit, so I think you'll be good.

I would hazard a guess that business was pretty good since the announcement. Hopefully parent company is paying attention.

I believe they have enough capital that CBCS could have continued to operate to keep 3 front running options out there. They just needed to alot funds to the necessary build ups.

Non of them will bump CGC off the top, but there was room to grow to grab more market share. Its a moot point now but I stressed in many posts over the years CBCS sorely needed a Matt Nelson figure out front.

Maybe PSA will move on that opportunity.

Who did Ralphie taunt with his buttocks? Was it other dogs?

@DrWatson that will be a big mistake on their part.

Only recently now can you do an eBay search and actually get PSA comic book hits and not just comic cards

Hi Everyone,

What did I miss while I was gone?

I wanted to send in 10 books for Verified Signatures, but the page only lets me add Authenticated with date.

Is CBCS not Verifying signatures now?

When did they get delivered? I sent in an order that was received about a week ago and it still hasn't been marked as received and I haven't been billed. I'm sure they're getting hit with a lot of final order right now, but I got so used to my box getting opened the day after it was delivered.

If the PSA team is reading this, they really should do the right thing on the operations end and get these last round submissions moving.

No asked (nor was it necessary) to shutter CBCS. They created this situation and should make the effort to close it out right.

Not winning me over to give them a try.
